D&B achieve Competence Plus in Peer Review

There are external reviews and external reviews - but for us at Dunn & Baker, the most important is the ‘peer review' commissioned by the Legal Services Commission and carried out by independent senior solicitors working in the same field. This concentrates on the quality of advice given and information obtained, and steps taken on the client's behalf. The highest rating is "Excellence" (of which approx only 2% of firms achieve). The next highest is ‘Competence Plus', which rating puts a firm, carrying out publicly funded work, in the top 30% in the country.

D& B has now achieved Competence Plus for both the Family and the Criminal Law Departments. This is a considerable accolade for those Departments and reflects the care and professionalism they bring to their advice and their role in seeking to achieve the best overall result for the client
