Hospiscare Wills Week

Every year Dunn & Baker helps to support a variety of charities by taking part in Free Will Campaigns. Hospiscare runs a Free Will Campaign each year and Dunn & Baker have been involved for the past 3 years. We agree to waiver our fees for the preparation of simple straight forward Wills and ask instead that clients donate directly to Hospisecare. The suggested donation for a single Will is £80 and £140 for mirror Wills.

Hospiscare like other charities rely on the generosity of patrons to make direct donations to them and/or leave legacies to them in their Wills. By participating in this Free Will Week we are providing people with an opportunity for them to consider making a donation to help secure the continuing presence of Hospiscare in Devon now and in the future. Hospiscare is a unique charity in that it is the only charity to provide dedicated high quality support to people and their families who are terminally ill free of charge in Exeter, Mid and East Devon. Hospiscare currently supports over 750 individuals in the local area at any one time.

Having a Will prepared professionally is the single most important decision you can make. It allows you to provide for your family and loved ones, but also gives you an opportunity of supporting charitable causes that would not otherwise be given. A Will allows you to appoint a guardian to look after and care for your young children, should anything happen to you. Most importantly of all it allows you to decide what happens to your assets on your death.
