On Saturday the 24th September 2011 Dan Pollard, a solicitor within the Private Client departments at QualitySolicitors Dunn & Baker took part in the 'Hospiscare One Mile Open Water Swim' at Roadford Lake. This is the only swim of its kind in the South West and is a chance to raise funds to help Hospiscare fund specialist local nurses who care for thousands of people every year. Dan swam this year on behalf of QualitySolicitors Dunn & Baker and raised £385 thanks to the generous donations of family, friends and work colleagues. Dan completed the swim in a time of 33 minutes and 11 seconds, nearly 7 minutes under his target of 40 minutes. Dan would like to say a huge 'thank you' to all of those who donated and to the volunteers who assisted on the day to make the event a really enjoyable and well run day.
