Katrina Short

Trainee Solicitor

Katrina completed her Law Degree in 2013 at Plymouth University.

Following the completion of her Law Degree Katrina worked in the Plot Sales Team of a national law firm based in Taunton. During this time Katrina acted for various Housing Associations in drafting the legal documentation for their housing developments and then assisting in the sale on of their individual new built plots which included both the Help to Buy scheme, shared ownership properties and staircasing matters. Katrina then gained more general experience in residential conveyancing as a Legal Assistant in a more locally based South West firm where she also assisted other senior members of staff in probate and litigation matters.

Katrina joined us in November 2015 as a Paralegal of the Conveyancing Department. Having completed the Legal Practice Course in July 2016 of which she achieved a Distinction overall, Katrina is now working as a Trainee Solicitor. She is currently working in the Conveyancing Department and assisting with all aspects of freehold and leasehold transactions as well as Transfer of Equity matters.

Katrina is looking forward to becoming a fully qualified Solicitor in March 2018 and furthering her career with Dunn & Baker.
