Vibration White Finger/Hand-arm Vibration Syndrome

Do you suffer with the following symptoms: numbness, pins & needles, tingling or whitening of your fingers?

Have you been employed as labourer, ground worker, road worker or any other profession that required you to use vibrating tools or machinery?

Have you used hand held power tools such as hydraulic breakers, jack hammers, wacker plates, scabblers, stihl saws, chain saws or floor saws?

If you’ve answered yes to the above questions, you may be able to make a claim for Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome (HAVS), also known as Vibration White Finger (VWF) under a no win, no fee agreement.

You do not still need to be still employed by the employer where you used the tools and you do not need to have seen your GP to have the condition diagnosed. So long as your onset of symptoms or exposure to the tools has been within the last 3 years you are likely to have reasonable prospects of claiming the compensation that you deserve.

HAVS is a permanent condition that affects the blood vessels and nerves in the hands. Typical symptoms include numbness, pins & needles, tingling and whitening of the fingers; symptoms are often worse in cold weather.

NIHL can be caused by one off exposure to intense noise such as an explosion or gun or by continuous exposure to loud sounds over an extended period of time such as working in close proximity to noisy machinery.

If you have been diagnosed with hearing loss and/or tinnitus in the last three years and you believe this is caused by noise exposure, then you should act fast and contact our specialist legal experts.
