Antonia Roberts

Private Client Executive

Antonia first started working as a Paralegal in 2011 working in Civil Litigation and later specialised on road traffic accident personal injury claims. Antonia gained experience within the family department preparing divorce applications, applying for Child Arrangement Orders and Occupation Orders. Alongside this she also worked closing with domestic abuse victims assisting them in obtaining Non-Molestation Orders. In 2012 commenced Chartered Institute of Legal Executive training and is an Associate Legal Executive. In early 2015 Antonia transferred her expertise into Private Client.

Antonia joined QualitySolicitors Dunn & Baker in February 2019 as a Private Client Executive. She is based at the Newton Abbot office where she prepares wills and powers of attorney and processing applications to the Court of Protection and administering estates where there is a will or an intestacy. She is particularly knowledgeable and interested in dealing with issues affecting the elderly and disabled clients. This involves protecting and managing their assets for later life when they are unable to look after themselves or are finding it increasingly difficult to do so. Antonia advises Attorneys and Deputies in the administration of the finances and personal affairs of the elderly and can assist in the preparation of Deputyship reports.

Antonia believes in a holistic approach to this area of work, ensuring that the donor’s personal wishes and aspirations are managed through the LPA administration process, not just delegation of the power to be make decisions.

Antonia is an associate member of Solicitors for the Elderly, an organisation that promotes good practice and expertise in legal work for elderly clients. She will be happy to attend clients in the office, or at home, if required.
