Darren is an Accredited Resolution Specialist, a Collaborative Lawyer, All Issues Mediator and is a Family Law Panel Accredited solicitor (formerly the Children’s Panel).
Darren has gained a well-deserved reputation for his practical and effective approach to resolving complex financial and property cases. He commonly handles high value financial cases many of which involve inherited wealth, foreign elements and where necessary the emergency freezing of assets to avoid prejudice to his clients.

In addition, Darren’s vast experience in conducting cases against a background where court is a last resort by utilising the Collaborative Law process and Mediation, brings an added dimension and depth to the service that he is able to provide to his clients. Darren has been a Resolution trained Collaborative Lawyer for many years now and as an Accredited Mediator he has been able to extend his skills and enhance his conciliatory approach to assisting couples in what can sometimes be a very tangled, difficult and emotionally challenging situation.

Where it is unfortunately not possible or appropriate to resolve any conflict or dispute utilising collaborative law or mediation then Darren has wide experience of personally representing clients at all levels of the court system and at round-the-table meetings.
Darren has been a Resolution Accredited Specialist for many years and this reflects his commitment to maintaining high expertise in all aspects of divorce and separation cases. He is also particularly skilled in dealing with domestic abuse and cohabitation matters through this qualification.

Darren is also a Family Law Panel Accredited Solicitor (formerly Children Panel) and this reflects his experience and knowledge of all aspects of children law. Darren handles care proceedings involving Local Authorities as well as complex children cases having foreign jurisdiction issues and child abduction situations.

“I would like to share my recent experience of making the best choice possible in appointing Darren Cleverdon of Dunn and Baker to deal with my divorce.
For anyone yet to undergo this fraught and stressful experience I would say look no further than D & B;  from the first consultation to the ultimate successful conclusion over a period of 18 difficult months Dunn and Baker “ cared”, the advice, procedure and actions were consistently proved correct. I was really in safe hands from day one without appreciating it at the time.
I would offer the highest recommendation possible without hesitation, and my thanks to Darren and his team for his strength, moral support and wisdom throughout.”

Your performance yesterday and the preparation by your team for the case was magnificent and acknowledged by the judge and judgement, there would have been no case had we not provided such and excellent bundle and accompanying paperwork…I will forever be thankful to you personally and to your firm for the professionalism you brought to my case over the past year almost. Once again thank you, those words don’t seem enough to truly express how much yesterday meant to [us].”
