George Bowser

George Bowser joined the firm in 1995. He is a solicitor with some 40 years of experience, having worked throughout that time in Devon. Over those years he has practised in a wide variety of disciplines, ranging through from property, crime, family and litigation (and way back in the mists of time, Wills and Probate) . He retains an interest in the law in all of those areas, but now specialises in commercial property and property development as well as corporate sales. His wide knowledge of law however can often enable him to approach a problem from a different angle.  He is at his happiest when resolving legal problems, and his clients know that they can trust his judgement, often doing so in pressured and time critical situations. He deals with all sizes of transaction, ranging from a small business sale through to large – recently completing a very complex development sale in excess of £20m.

Away from the office he is a keen sailor (of other peoples’ boats – having realised the old adage of boat-owning and tearing up £10 notes whilst taking a cold shower was all too true), music lover, and fine wine aficionado.
