Jess Clements

Trainee Solicitor

Jess initially joined as a Paralegal in our Commercial Property team after studying with the University of Law at Exeter University and achieving a Distinction in her Legal Practice Course with a Master of Science in Law, Business and Management. Prior to this she read English Literature at Bath Spa University before successfully completing the Graduate Diploma in Law, also in Exeter.

Whilst studying for the GDL and LPC, Jess worked part time in a law firm close to her family home. During this time, she assisted fee earners in Private Client, Employment, Debt Recovery and Residential Property Departments.

Jess commenced her role as a Trainee Solicitor in September 2018 working in Residential and Commercial Property. She also currently holds the role of Social Secretary for the Junior Lawyers Division of Devon and Somerset Law society.

Before moving into full-time work Jess spent her summers volunteering and working abroad. Voluntary time included helping in a baby’s orphanage in Uganda as well as teaching in both Uganda and India. Jess also spent four months working as a lifeguard in America, where she received her American Red Cross Lifeguard and AED training.

Jess describes herself as friendly and hard working with her key focus being on providing the best service to every client.
