Laura Sellick-Tague

Chartered Legal Executive

Laura studied Law and Sociology at the University of the West of England between 2006 and 2009 before thereafter embarking on the Graduate Diploma in Law at the Bristol Institute of Legal Practice.

After commencing employment with a local firm in 2011, Laura continued her Post-Graduate studies through the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives completing modules in Family Law, Family Practice and Civil Litigation and qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in April 2018.

Laura joined the Family Law Team at QualitySolicitors Dunn & Baker in June 2016 and is based at our Exeter office.

Laura specialises in Divorce, Separation and Financial matters and works alongside our Family Department partner Darren Cleverdon. She has a good experience of financial agreements such as pre-cohabitation and pre-marital agreements as well as achieving clean break court orders.

In addition, Laura has experience of most areas of Family Law and is therefore happy and able to provide general advice regarding other matters, such as disputes regarding children, where needed.

Laura attends court and advocates meetings as required. She enjoys advancing the views and positions of her clients and is very comfortable in this role and these environments.
Laura is always very mindful that all aspects of family law and relationship breakdown can be very emotional for those involved. She also appreciates the common need to help ensure the parties and their families remain as emotionally and financially intact as possible following a separation. Laura aims to resolve disputes as quickly as possible and adopts a constructive and practical approach where at all possible.
