Roger Williams

Consultant Solicitor

Roger ML Williams is a graduate of Oxford University where he gained the Degree of Master of Arts and won the Francis Bennion Prize.

Roger was admitted as a Solicitor in November 1972 and has over 40 years experience in the legal profession. For many years Roger was a Partner in Quality Solicitors Dunn & Baker and is now a Consultant with a wide and varied practice dealing mainly with property and commercial transactions and he has a specialist knowledge of the law relating to the Licensed Trade and the operation of that trade.

Roger was born and spent his pre-University days in Holmfirth near Huddersfield in West Yorkshire attending Holme Valley Grammar School. Although he did not know Lloyd George’s father he did know Harold Wilson’s father! Roger has an ability to analyse complex facts and cut through and get to the heart of any complex issue quickly and to this effect he will then apply a typical Yorkshire directness with a lot of common sense to the problem which has been to relief of many clients over the years. It will take much to surprise him and even though he may have passed the statutory retirement age his appetite for work and energy remain undiminished.
