We currently have a vacancy for a Business Admin Assistant to join the business administration department within our Exeter office on a full time basis.
This is not a legal secretarial role it is a non-legal support role.

About the role:
The business administration team help to facilitate the compliance, resources and day-to-day running of the business. It is a very varied role and includes, but is not limited to:
- Maintaining firm records relating to compliance requirements
- Providing first-line IT support to staff
- Providing and arranging staff training as required
- Assisting with marketing on the firm’s website, on social media and through third-party advertisers
- Arranging staff social events including annual and ad hoc events
- Purchasing and cost control of stationary and merchandise, as required
- Assisting in the co-ordination of staff and departmental room and seating arrangements
- Proving support to the Head of Compliance and Resources in other tasks as required

We are seeking someone who:
- Is a team player
- Is willing to undertake and be positively involved in a wide variety of tasks
- Has good telephone, interpersonal and communication skills
- Has basic IT knowledge
- Has excellent organisational skills
- Has a confident and friendly manner
- Has a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (with a focus on Word, Outlook and Excel)
- Preferably has previous experience of working in a professional office
- Will contribute to the smooth running of the firm
Training:
- You will be provided with all task-associated training in-house on the job. You will be required to undertake a manual handling and moving course via an external training provider.
