INTRODUCTION
Asha joined the Dunn & Baker Private Client Department as a Court of Protection Executive in March 2026. She has specialised in Court of Protection matters since July 2019 and has extensive experience supporting individuals with a wide range of complex care needs.
TRAINING
After completing a degree in Psychology in 2012, Asha worked within the local authority’s Complex Care Teams. During this time, she supported clients who required an Attorney or Deputy and developed a strong interest in Court of Protection matters.
SPECIALISMS
Throughout her career in Court of Protection, Asha has supported both adults and children who lack the mental capacity to manage their property and financial affairs. She works collaboratively with therapists, Independent Financial Advisers, Case Managers and Social Workers to achieve the best possible outcomes for her clients.
Drawing on her extensive background in complex care, Asha has supported individuals affected by life-changing illnesses, personal injury and clinical negligence. Understanding the impact these circumstances can have on individuals and their families, she is committed to providing ongoing support and management to help guide them through challenging times.
Asha also assists individuals wishing to become an Attorney or Deputy, providing guidance and support throughout the application process. In addition, she supports clients who have regained mental capacity by helping them apply to the Court of Protection to discharge an existing Deputyship.

Asha provides a friendly, approachable and compassionate service, building strong relationships with her clients and their families to help ease the stress often associated with Court of Protection matters. She is committed to acting in her clients’ best interests at every stage, ensuring they receive the guidance, support and reassurance they need throughout the process.
