INTRODUCTION
Ava joined Dunn & Baker Solicitors in September 2025 as a Paralegal in the Residential Property Department, where she supports the team on a range of conveyancing matters. In March 2026, she will begin her Training Contract with the firm, thus progressing to the role of a Trainee Solicitor.
TRAINING
Ava completed her LLB Law degree at the University of Exeter in 2024, graduating with a 2:1. She then spent the last year expanding her knowledge by completing the LPC LLM at the University of Law, achieving a distinction. Alongside her studies, Ava volunteered with the Citizens Advice family law clinic, providing pro bono assistance to individuals without access to legal representation, giving her the opportunity to apply legal knowledge within a practical setting very early in her career.
SPECIALISMS
Through her work in the Residential Property Department, Ava has gained experience in transfers of equity, drafting contracts, and responding to enquiries. This experience has aided her in developing a strong technical understanding of property law, while also providing meaningful client interaction that will support her progression throughout her training contract.
APPROACH
Through her voluntary work, Ava experienced first-hand the importance of clear and timely communication in supporting clients throughout legal matters. Carrying this perspective into her role at Dunn & Baker Solicitors, Ava understands that individual circumstances should be precise, practical, and tailored so seeks to make each stage of the legal process as straightforward and efficient as possible.
