INTRODUCTION
Ava joined Dunn & Baker Solicitors in September 2025 as a Paralegal in the Residential Property Department. She began her Training Contract with the firm in March 2026, thus progressing to the role of a Trainee Solicitor.

TRAINING
Ava completed her LLB Law degree at the University of Exeter in 2024, graduating with a 2:1. She then spent the last year expanding her knowledge by completing the LPC LLM at the University of Law, achieving a distinction. Alongside her studies, Ava volunteered with the Citizens Advice family law clinic, providing pro bono assistance to individuals without access to legal representation, giving her the opportunity to apply legal knowledge within a practical setting very early in her career.

SPECIALISMS
Ava completed her first seat in the residential Property Department in September 2026 having gained experience in transfers of equity, drafting contracts, and responding to enquiries. She is now undertaking her seat in the Family Department where she is assisting on matters such as private and public childcare, separation and financial disclosure.

APPROACH
Through her voluntary work, Ava experienced first-hand the importance of clear and timely communication in supporting clients throughout legal matters. Carrying this perspective into her role at Dunn & Baker Solicitors, Ava understands that individual circumstances should be precise, practical, and tailored so seeks to make each stage of the legal process as straightforward and efficient as possible.
