INTRODUCTION
Emma joined Dunn & Baker Solicitors in 2019 and specialises in Family Finances and Children issues. Emma is an Accredited Resolution specialist and Collaborative Lawyer.  Emma is the chair of the group of Collaborative Lawyers in South Devon and is a member of the Resolution Committee for Devon.

TRAINING
Emma completed her Degree in law (LLB Hons) and qualified as a solicitor in 2001. Emma has specialised as a Family Solicitor since she qualified.

SPECIALISMS
Emma specialises in all financial aspects of separation and divorce as well as the issues arising out of relationship breakdown between cohabiting partners. Emma also advises on the preparation of living together or pre-marital agreements. She is experienced in handling cases involving high value financial aspects and complex issues.

Emma also specialises in dealing with arrangements for children and assisting clients to negotiate practical solutions to their family problems.

APPROACH
While Emma is committed to resolving cases by agreement either through round table meetings or the Collaborative process, she is a confident and experienced solicitor and is comfortable advising and assisting clients through the court process where required.

Emma believes in providing clients with full information and a range of options at the outset to enable them to make informed decisions and works closely with colleagues in other teams within the firm, as well as other professionals including accountants and pensions experts, to provide clients with composite advice.
