INTRODUCTION
Julia is a Partner and Solicitor working within the Commercial Property Department. Julia joined Dunn & Baker Solicitors in 2016 having previously worked for another local regional law firm. Previous to this, Julia spent several years as a Company Commercial Paralegal prior to qualifying as a solicitor in 2013. Julia specialises in all aspects of Commercial Property work including commercial sales/purchases, landlord and tenant matters (acting for both landlord and tenant) and business sales and acquisitions.

TRAINING
Julia qualified as a solicitor in 2013. She has a degree in English Literature from Cardiff University and completed the Graduate Diploma in Law and the Legal Practice Course at the University of Exeter.

SPECIALISMS
Julia specialises in all areas of Commercial Property work including property sales and purchases, commercial leases (acting for both landlord and tenant), finance transactions, and business sales and acquisitions. Julia has dealt with a wide variety of business sales/acquisitions including care homes, hotels/guest houses, public houses, restaurants, shops and cafes. She has also been involved in the sale of tourist attractions and historic vessels and has considerable experience in dealing with land transfers and transactions involving agricultural land.

In addition to Commercial Property work, Julia also specialises in a range of Corporate work including company sales and purchases, and shareholders’ agreements. Julia was recently involved in the sale of a large logistics company, as well as transactions involving childcare and fire protection businesses.

Priding herself on providing clear and timely advice to clients, Julia always ensures that her clients fully understand all aspects of their transactions. Julia likes to keep her clients fully informed of progress and being conscious of clients expectations, aims to complete all matters in a timely manner.
